Stop the TPP With Us In Washington, DC November 16-17th!

After nearly six years of negotiations, trade ministers recently announced they had reached agreement on the text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the anti-worker, environmentally destructive, corporate juggernaut of a trade agreement now going before Congress.

See Dr. Flowers' statement on the TPP negotiations here, posted by the Green Party of the United States.

This does not mean the TPP is a done deal. The next hurdle for this rigged corporate power grab is to convince the participating governments, including Congress, to ratify it. In the United States, the trade justice movement can stop the TPP and its accompanying agreements TTIP and TiSA.

The Flowers for Senate campaign is proud to be a part of that broad and diverse movement. We are announcing our support for the #FallRising to Stop TPP, TTIP, & TiSA this November. Actions like this and many others are vital for building popular resistance to toxic trade deals.
Mark your calendars now: the Flowers for Senate campaign will be joining two demonstrations in Washington, DC during the #FallRising mobilization.

Join us Monday, November 16th at 4:30 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for a version of a "torch and pitchfork" rally and march. Click here for more information and to RSVP on Facebook.

Join us on Tuesday, November 17th at 11 at Dupont Circle for a march down Embassy Row to show solidarity with other countries organizing resistance against the TPP. Click here for more information and to RSVP on Facebook.

We need you to come down to DC and join our contingent, but we also need your financial support! For this event we are producing t-shirts, stickers, and signs. All our materials will be USA-made (another way we can stop the international race to the bottom of the wage scale for workers) so they won't come cheap!
