Polls show that 50% of Americans do not identify as either Democrat nor Republican. This means that many debates are exclusionary because they lock out the diverse voices and views of half of all Americans. Voters have a right to hear directly from their possible choices for state-wide office.
Debates should reflect the diversity of American political opinion. They cannot continue to be restricted to two candidates who are nominated by establishment parties and funded by corporate donations and billionaire support.
Dr. Margaret Flowers is the Green Party nominee for U.S. Senate. She and other Green Party candidates will be on the official ballot this November. Her voice must be heard in any debates between candidates for U.S. Senate!
Jesse Ventura polled at 2% when he started his campaign for Governor of Minnesota. After he was in a debate, his support rose and he won the election!
